Yup it is.  Hard as working in the hot sun digging ditches for a living?  Probably not.

But I wanted to share MAStar’s words of wisdom and personal experience in making anime.

MAStar has been creating One Punch Man vs Goku.  It was a fun little animation.

He is working on another here and his own anime series.

We talk about making anime.  Truth is that year after year it is getting easier and easier to do it on your own or with some friends.

For example check out the latest trailer for Gantz 0.

Here are some behind the scenes.

So maybe combine Poser, Iclone or DAZ3d with one of the packages below.

Personally I’ve used IPIsoft but I’ve recently been thinking about Iclones Mocap or Iclone mixed with Perception.

Hey Perception if you want to give me a mocap suit and Iclone you want me to start making my anime using your stuff that I promote please call me.  LOL.

Seriously….call me.  Perception Neuron looks awesome.

Okay back to our story.  Did you know the creator of Gantz actually used Poser in creating his comic?

Yup!

So why not use something like POser, Iclone or DAZ to make your stuff?

Now I need to find some cheap facial capture software.  If you know where to find it please let me know!

I love it.  Reallusion please get me one of these.   I will tell everyone about it till the end of days.  :)

This has a sort of an Appleseed, Final Fantasy feel to it.

Here is a CGI Breakdown.

I was thinking could you make a Final Fantasy looking Anime, Cartoon or Manga using Poser or Daz 3d?

I was thinking you could take a few elements like this and do something similiar to the above without having to create every single asset.

Get to it folks.

Also why are almost every short animation out there about someone getting chased by something else in a weird world.  Do we like being chased?

So when working on my upcoming secret projects I have been looking for several different pipelines that would lend to the speed and quality of my animation.    I have worked on 2 different pipelines for both my manga and my Cinematic comics.

I am using UE4.  If you have seen some of the quality coming out of it and others it seems pretty fit to tell a good story with good visuals and add to the SPEED of creating good looking art.

Paragon was a recent game featured on Unreal Engines Youtube page and they shared their animation techniques.

So here is a pipeline you can possibly use.

Daz for characters > Iclone for animation and scene setup>Export to Ue4 for realtime render.

Or you can have someone model your characters and have it rigged for DAZ and Iclone to export into Ue4, Unity or Cry Engine.

Right now Ue4 is best for me due to the upgrade in their cinematic program, Sequencer.

I really like this method used by these comic book creators.  Poser may seem like a cheat but I’m really wanting to tell stories.   Noticed in this webinar that Brian said he can do about 6 pages per day.   This gives you speed and quality that you would not normally be able to get out of hand drawn work.

You can apply the same principals in this video for Anime or Manga.    I hope you enjoy this awesome Webinar.
