Okay I’ve been into UE4 for some time.  I wanted to share with you this really awesome video showing you step by step how to animate a scene.

While UE4 is for making games its built in Sequencer could be used to Render and create great looking animations for you.  I’ve spoke about this in the past but here is a more in depth tutorial.

If you want to make something that resembles GANTZ  I could see combining UE4 for rendering with DAZ and Poser for animation and characters.

Also a really interesting idea is to make a 3d VR anime film.   That would be awesome.

Well the best part of your anime next to story is good character design.  Here are some tips for your own personal anime.

Here is the design behind one of the newest and latest greatest character.

You guys remember that quote?  If you do you are probably 40.  :)

I’m not here to dig up the past nostalgia, I’m actually here to share more ideas on animation that might help you.

Going back to cut out animation.  I know some folks hate to think of doing a series or movie that way but really it can add style, be fast and be beautiful.

Check out what you can do.

Here is a great little tutorial that shows you what you can do.

The software used is called SPINE.  I think most animation software has some form of this type of animation but I really like how this one looks and moves.  It is made for this very specific task and it does it well.

Check out who uses this method.

They do stuff like this using this cutout method.

Go for it.   Cut out animation is not evil.

I know a lot of you are overwhelmed with the idea of making a whole anime and truth is you’ll probably have to do it all by yourself.  You will not truly find artists to help you in your endeavor for the long haul.

But could you still make something cool to watch in a somewhat animated form?  Why yes!  Yes you can.

I have fun watching this guys videos of popular manga.  You could do something like this and it still be watchable as an anime.

Hey ya’ll.

I just wanted to stop and chat a bit and tell you how much I enjoy working on this website.  There are a few big things coming down the pipe.

I will be working on 3 animated cinematic comics.  I’m going to be doing it in 3d so I am building the assets.  I will actually be showing you how to build those assets and how I do this stuff step by step.

I can’t wait.

But I had a question.  I was wondering what type of tutorials would you like?  What type of inspiration?  What would you like to see here on this website?

Usually I look all over the web for the best tutorials and share various methods you can use to make your own animation/anime.  Now I would like to know if there are any specifics to 3d anime, 2d anime, etc.

Please feel free to share.
